Conlin enters Baseball Hall

The Daily News' Bill Conlin has been called as the 2011 champ of the J.G. Taylor Spink Award and will be accustomed at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y. on July 23.

Conlin enters Baseball Hall


Rich Hofmann: Bill Conlin thanked his ancestors and friends, and again he was off. All of the accoutrement accustomed to his half-century of readers were in affirmation during his accent at the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Rich Hofmann: Bill Conlin is getting accustomed this weekend at the Baseball Hall of Fame. He is getting accustomed because of that arcane voice, one that has authentic Philadelphia baseball for so long: loud, beautiful and unshakable, even today.
